Pal Registry Cleaner

The final registry repair review we ran was with Pal Registry Cleaner. We ran it on an old Dell Dimension PC which had major slow down issues (and we knew it wasn't due to low memory because we installed an extra 1GB on it, which was more than ample for what we had running on the machine).

The Dell also had DLL errors and various missing or corrupt files, so we went ahead and ran Pal Registry Cleaner on it.

What we noticed immediately after starting up Pal Registry Cleaner was that there are very few features. In fact, out of all of our reviews, Pal Registry Cleaner has the least amount of overall features.

But the key question is, does Pal Rgeistry Cleaner work? Well, sadly the answer is "not too well".

Although it does perform a basic registry repair, it appears to be the least effective in cleaning the registry properly, as we were left with numerous errors after the repair took place.

Perhaps one saving grace of Pal Registry Cleaner was that it does a great job of backing up the registry (does it really fast), but perhaps this is a little lost behind the fact that it does such a lously job of repairing the registry at all.

Customer support was below average, with email support taking a few days. In comparison to ther registry repair products, this is simply just not good enough for the average busy (and frustrated) PC user.

With so few custom scanning options and a very poorly designed interface layout, Pal Registry Cleaner was just not worth the money to us. We did find it pretty easy to use after we got used to the terrible interface, but apart from that we'd like to point out that there are just too many better registry repair softwares out there to even consider this one.
